1. Engagement. You are engaged as an independent contractor, not an employee, to provide furniture delivery services for Select Home Center.
2. Scope. Collect confirmed orders from Select's home warehouse, deliver to the address and parish specified, provide assembly where requested and able, collect Cash on Delivery where applicable, and log every delivery attempt accurately in this portal.
3. License & Insurance. You must hold a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, provide copies to Select, and notify Select immediately of any lapse or expiry.
4. Cash Handling. Cash collected on delivery is held in trust until remitted to Select, and must be reported accurately at the time of delivery.
5. Confidentiality. Customer names, phone numbers, addresses, and order details are confidential and may only be used to complete deliveries.
6. Location Sharing. Signing in to this portal shares your device location with Select while the portal is open, to support delivery tracking.
7. Liability. You are responsible for your vehicle, its insurance, and any accidents or damage arising from its operation. You are responsible for goods in your care until delivered.
8. Termination. Either party may end this arrangement with notice; Select may end it immediately for cause, including expired documentation, fraud, or repeated failure to complete deliveries.
